About
All classes are taught in the Anusara® style of yoga. Anusara (a-nu-sar-a), meaning to flow with grace or follow your heart, is a powerful hatha yoga system that celebrates the spirit of the HEART, with a sophisticated set of biomechanical ALIGNMENT principles and balanced ACTION in every pose. Each class is a refection of Ali’s enthusiasm for life, compassion, and playful spirit. Ali honors each students unique abilities and limitations and is committed to inspiring her students to step into their own fullness.
- Mixed Level
A moderately paced class, open to experienced beginners and intermediate students. All are welcome.
- Intermediate
For students who have a good understanding of the Anusara Principles of Alignment.
- THE PRACTICE
A 2-hour playful, structured practice session geared toward experienced intermediate and advanced Anusara students. The teacher most often practices alongside the students and gives direction and guidance. Students should be able to perform handstand and urdhva dhanurasana with straight arms. A strong understanding of the Anusara alignment principles is encouraged. Students should have enough experience that they can safely practice in a continuous flow.
